About Me

Hi my name is Michael. I like drawing, sculpting and art in general. I also like computers.

I work in reception in a shitty hotel for the summer. Will get a job as an phone/computer repair technician as a side job when my college starts in Octomber.

Family roots

Something that interests me are my family roots, so I will dedicate this part of the website to write about it.

My mom's father is from Empona (Rhodes), his father worked in Alexandria (Egypt), my grandpa travelled to the US when he was 16, worked as a roofer in New York and met my grandma. My grandma is from Kavala (Greece), her family was exiled from Pontus (during the Pontus Genocide at 1914–1923), later she went to the US and her sister (my aunt Koula) went Germany, Koula worked in a factory that made light bulbs. My dad's father was from Crete, he was a builder but later went to Rhodes and build a farm that my uncle runs to this day. My grandma is from Kos but oiginally from Smyrni (now known as Izmir, Turkey), she told me that she and her sister would pick tobacco.
